The user experiences of today were not feasible 12 or even 6 months ago.
We explore existing tech stacks and bleeding edge tools to de-risk early concepts and uncover the latest possibilities that technology has unlocked.
- AI Opportunity Definition
Hone in on ideal use cases for LLMs and other AI technology by deeply understanding the existing user journey and pinpointing specific opportunities to streamline and optimize through AI. - Feasibility Prototyping
Rapid prototyping to de-risk core functionality and identify new possibilities before investing in a full product build. - Tech Stack Mapping
An audit of existing customer and user toolsets to fully understand how they interact with their software and why, integration capabilities, multi-toolset processes, and capability gaps. - Implementation Strategy
Identify the ideal toolset to accomplish project objectives, weighing any constraints and the existing software ecosystem
Brand Positioning
When technology gaps can be closed in weeks instead of years, brand becomes the most important differentiator.
Whether it’s a new product launch, a re-brand, a reputational challenge, or a positioning tweak, we help you create positioning, messaging, and customer experience strategy that separates you from the field.
- Stakeholder Workshops

We uncover insights in both the tiniest UI details and the larger UX journey from careful user testing and experience analyses.
- Concept Testing
Test value propositions and user experiences in the form of storyboards, concept decks, and prototypes to validate the solution, hone in on priorities, and find opportunities to improve the UX before a product or feature is built. - User Testing
Usability testing, A/B testing, observational interviews, and surveying to gather feedback on the functionality, ease of use, and overall satisfaction with existing experiences. - User Data Analysis
An analysis of product usage data to uncover behavioral patterns in how users interact with the software including: feature utilization, navigation paths, points of friction, conversion and drop-off data, and performance metrics.
Analytics
We’re awash in data, but it’s worthless if we can’t make sense of it.
We build data models, visualizations, and dashboards that people actively use to make high quality decisions. Our team gets under the hood to truly understand what businesses and stakeholders need and then design data visualizations that not only deliver the information needed but do so in a way that is tells a clear story.
- Data Strategy
Conduct structure workshops designed to elicit business and stakeholder needs and craft strategies to specify key metrics, data architecture, and governance. - Data Visualization
Rapid prototyping to determine possible formats for data presentation (including BI dashboard design, reporting automation, and interactive data storytelling for web) before testing them with stakeholders in order to ensure that we’re building the most user-friendly and actionable design possible. - Data Science
Deep-dives into large, messy datasets to enrich data, surface key insights, and build models to predict future trends

Some of Our Work
Honing in on the feedback problem
Surveys show that 65% of employees say they are not getting enough feedback. Through dozens of interviews with HR professionals and professional service workers, we cracked open this problem and set the course for our team to rapidly build a tool designed to lower the effort and risk involved in delivering feedback.
Developing a custom business database app when off-the-shelf tools couldn’t do the job.
Moran Capital, a commercial real-estate investment group, was looking to upgrade their custom database of properties. Our team got out in the field to fully understand their business and workflow. We then developed a cost-efficient low code solution with just the right amount of customization to streamline their workflow and increase their ability to spot new opportunities.
Helping funeral homes solve their profitability problem
Intrigued by the trend towards cremation over burial, the Discovery Team spent hours talking to funeral directors, visiting funeral homes, and pre-planning services. Within the details of those experiences, we honed in on a problem worth solving and built a highly personal preplanning experience that enables funeral homes to capture more financial benefit from preneed insurance sales—without turning funeral directors into salespeople.
Optimizing tedious workflows through human-centered AI
Our team embedded itself within a home health agency—following following nurses, coding specialists, and intake coordinators throughout their day-to-day. Our goal: identify the biggest opportunities to transform tedious workflows through bleeding edge technology and then figure out the tech stack that will best deliver on what’s possible.
Visualizing the value of primary care through a custom dashboard suite
Remedy Health came to Gitwit with a challenge. They needed to improve their reporting in order to show companies the impact of the care they provide as an employer-sponsored benefit. Our data engineers integrated data from numerous platforms into a fully-automated, HIPAA compliant suite of dashboards that allow Remedy’s corporate customers to view the impacts of Remedy’s care at any time.
Our Manifesto
The outsider’s perspective is our advantage
We help teams release the burden of assumptions and engrained ways of thinking that can blind visibility to new insights.
When we enter with a beginner’s mindset, we can ask the questions that the experts would assume basic. It’s often by examining those assumptions that we’re able to unearth some of the most game changing insights and opportunities.
A unique problem deserves a unique approach
The companies, concepts, and challenges we tackle are complex and unique. There’s no squeezing these needs into a standard playbook. We design a unique plan that will best deliver on the objectives for every client, every problem, every project.
Never data for data’s sake
Organizations are already drowning in data. We recognize that endless data points or pages of customer research isn’t what teams need. So often data is unusable because insights are buried or disconnected from the actual needs and operations of the organization.
We start with a deep understanding of the business and how data will be used. We learn the things that you didn’t know you didn’t know and then we turn the corner to give you the actionable implications of what we learn—the “so what”.
Prioritize curiosity over conviction
There’s a craft and science to the way a good interview, workshop, or online investigation is conducted. Learnings are only as good as the questions you ask, the way you ask them, the people you ask them of, and the way you digest and interpret what they have to say.
As scientists, we focus on asking better questions and proactively seeking out new information in a deliberate and open-minded way.
